Welcome to AgoraLIC!  Outdoor Pop-up Market for New New Indie designers, hand-made tasty tastes, crafty crafts, pet-friendly and eco-friendly merchants!  Visit us at St. Mary’s Lot (10-31 49th Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101) between Vernon Boulevard and Jackson Avenue – just 1 block north of the #7 Train from Manhattan, and 1 block west of the Pulaski Bridge at the Jackson Avenue Intersection.

Home to the city’s greatest concentration of art outside of Manhattan, Long Island City conveniently sits just across the East River from Midtown East.  Find us at the crossroads of 6 cultural institutions and within strolling distance of some of the finest tasting restaurants and watering halls in New York City.  Discover a thriving community gathering to showcase their wares and talents at Agora LIC.

  • This outdoor market in LIC opens on specific Saturdays for shopping in May, September and October 2011. 

  • This is not a street fair!  Visitors gather to meet, chat and network with indie designers of handmade items, the simplicity of original design by local artisans and creative vendors.

  • We are a rain/shine market for professional artist and cheerful vendors: even if it rains, we still shine!

What can vendors expect at Agora LIC?

  • A Popup Market of local indie designers, handmade artisans and eco-friendly merchants on specific Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, RAIN or SHINE.  

  • Ample and enthusiastic foot traffic along two main streets,Vernon Boulevard and Jackson Avenue

  • A strong presence by local artists and organizations

  • We partner, advertise and promote on and off-line to draw thousands of attendees to each event who will see your work in person.

  • Choose to customize a 10’x 10’ open space or to line the fence along the perimeter of the outdoor market.  Vendors are in charge of bringing their own displays, canopy, tables, chairs, and, of course, style.

  • One-time registration fee of $25 plus vendor fee grants merchants the opportunity to occupy a full space or half a space.  However, each party must apply to be recognized and approved.

  • Rain or shine, the show must go on: please be prepared for a lapse in weather by bringing the necessary tents or awnings.

  • An hour for Set-up from 9am to 10am, and for Break-down from 4pm to 5pm sharp

  • Bathroom exclusively available to vendors, and will not be shared with the public
